across Canada. Here are some of our standout moments:

FOUR SEASONS OF INDIGENOUS LEARNING: SEASON 2

The ten-part professional learning course, in partnership with the Outdoor Learning School and Store, has supported 1,622 participants this year alone in strengthening their connection with the local land as part of their personal journeys toward truth and reconciliation. In total, 3,070 participants have engaged with the course.

SELF GUIDED LEARNING SERIES

Our free, 5-part Self-Guided Learning Series offers an introductory exploration of Natural Curiosity's four-branch environmental inquiry framework, enriched by Indigenous perspectives. Designed for independent learning, the program has attracted 3,556 registrants since its inception. This year's enrolment reached 965, reflecting a significant 80% increase from the previous year's enrolment of 534.

INDIGENOUS LANGUAGE COURSES

In partnership with the Outdoor Learning School and Store, online Cree, Mohawk, and Ojibway language courses have seen significant interest, with over 400 early bird registrants and a total of 3,728 participants. These courses aim to revitalize Indigenous languages by making them accessible online .

Presented the Keynote and 4 Workshops for 60+ educators from the Sahtu Divisional Education Council in Yellowknife, NWT.

NATURAL CURIOSITY THROUGHOUT THE SEASONS

In partnership with Take Me Outside Week, this webinar inspired educators to bring students outdoors for deepened learning. Focusing on the Natural Curiosity framework, the session provided actionable strategies and hands-on techniques to create transformative outdoor experiences across all seasons. With over 150 live attendees and 1,000+ views of the recording, the webinar empowered educators to build meaningful connections between students and the natural world.

Educator Testimonial

"I am grateful for the encouragement and knowledge which Natural Curiosity has outlined; it has made possible, in myself, a much needed shift in mindset towards favoring place-based, hands-on learning and the fostering of connection to the land and sustainability interacting with all that exists within it."
